I haven't had a chance to check NaughtyWordChars or Better Word Limit in the newly-released MT 3.3 yet, but I hope to soon. NaughtyWordsChars will certaily need an update, as it is partially dependant on BigPAPI. Hopefully I'll have time to get an update out soon.
HuffingtonPost.com probably will not be making the 3.3 switch for a little while. We run 3.2 with a whole bunch of plugins which will need some (hopefully not too much) work. The big hang-up is going to be the CMS templates though. It looks like 3.3 has made some huge improvements in this area, and we've got custom templates here that are going to be lots of fun to integrate.
3.3 looks great though, we used the beta for a small site in June, and the interface improvements are tremendous. I'm looking forward to seeing what's changed since the beta, and seeing what goodies have been added to the perl API.
Update 10/8: NaughtyWordChars has been updated to work with 3.2 and 3.3
